I defenitly underestimated the german attack. In retrospect i should have focussed completly on infantry and not have gone for medium tank units (which i also committed piecemeal).

But i have not surrendered yet!

Vic,

Is there any way to concentrate your remaining planes for a very hard attack on
the german armor ? Maybe you can find units which are not protected by german fighters.
If not i would also go for masses of infantry. Perfect would be if you can upgrade to rifle III.
Like Arditi i hope you can hold, but the chance is very very small even you get Murmansk support
and the siberians. But hey, maybe you have a special idea and can use the siberian super units with good effect
in the blizzard turns. I hope this since i want to see the AAR continued in 1942 [:)]

An upgrade to rifle III would cost 160 pp.  Producing a pp is the same as producing 5 rifle II.  So Vic would have to forego 800 rifle II to get to rifle III which I think would put him in a tough spot during the spring turns.

With the winter and the Soviet entrenched positions, I think the game will go into 1942.

Yes, i know, but in case he get the 100 PP development bonus by event he could do that.
Or in case he saved some PP´s. Especially for performance against your tanks this would be very important.
But first he has to stabilize the front. It seems he can now concentrate on Moscow defense.
