18th-19th Century Warfare

I’ve been interested in attempting earlier modes for CS. Mainly for early WWI and Russo-Japanese War, but have considered earlier periods also. I’d like to know if it is currently possible to mode a scenario to increase the maximum SP per hex. I want to really pack a large formation into a small area to create something similar to those days before there was many good ideas on how to assault machine guns. I’d also like to be able to change formation between line and column and have the advantages and disadvantages for each programmed in. At least for the early 20th and late 19th century (rifle days) I think it would make sense to not change hex size, just so someone like me could tinker around with how tactics changed leading through WWI and seamlessly continue on up to WWII.
