I found an AI.AIX file in my save game directory from before the patch.

I deleted it - I don't know what it was doing there.

The patch updates the AI.AIX at the root level. I saved a copy of that and the memory file in case I want to reset the game in the future.
2021 - Resigned in writing as a 20+ year Matrix Beta and never looked back ...
