Monadman in another thread clarifies that units on loan remain at war only with the nations that the lending power are at war with.

That is what was hoped (or things get very complicated).
He also states that naval units may not be loaned, which makes anti-GB naval cooperation a lot harder.

So how would France and Spain jointly attack the British navy if so inclined? Am I understanding this correctly? Wouldn't this make Britain absolutely supreme for eternity on the waves?

At the moment this would appear to require seperate attacks by each fleet against some smaller, isolated portions of the British fleet.

Yeah, currently they cannot coordinate a combined attack but if stacked together could defend as one -something to consider.

Where did Ralegh go?  His last post was over a month ago.

I've been looking forward to seeing some more Ralegh Guides.  The original tips from 2 months ago could be updated with the v1.01 patch material.  This is good stuff; we need more.

by aliens, enlisted in the Marines, joined a political
campaign or what?  he seems to have vanished.

I believe this whole thing started in November, 2007.

I'm looking forward to what he comes up with.

Think you need to allow him to play some pbm games.
Or the AI to improve bit.

I dont think you need many tips to win over the AI. At its current state.

we're waiting on a UI tutorial not a strategy guide LOL. The interface is a mess of r-click/l-click....set this, click that and is inconsistent[:-]. For EiA noobs its nigh unplayable IMHO, the boardgame would be an easier, less frustrating, alternative.

In refence to your point L6 regarding multi district minors, when you say that if you conquer Sweden and Finland comes with it (as I did as Russian), that when you make Sweden a free state, Finland becomes free too is incorrect.

In our game, I conquered Sweden, and Finland came too, but when I made Sweden a free state, Finland stayed conquered and remains conquered in the game as of May 1806.

I thought that Finland would become free and add its money to the Swedish Free State, but this is not the case.

Hawks is correct, and I believe it is documented that way in the manual, too. But, it was a change from the pre-release form of the game, as I understand it.
At LAST! The greatest campaign board game of all time is finally available for the PC. Can my old heart stand the strain?
