I am assuming people would want to negotiaite with other players outside thier turn order as well. So I'm guessing it might not be bad to have everyones contact info..... although I'm guessing PM's here would work as well. How have you guys handled this sort of thing before?

I have just sent a diplomatic PM. But I have noticed there is no outbox on this forum, only a sent box. And my pm's don't appear in my sent box. Could you please PM me back if you have recieved my note - to let me know it arrived safely.

Nice to see the Diplomatic wrangling has begun lol [:D] Yes the PM on this forum is probably the best way to negotiate between players. Just remember what you said. I personally don't like the thought of lots of people knowing other peoples E-mail addresses, think its best kept to the minimum but obviously up to individuals. I have sent Scandinavia my address by PM so they can send their turn to me. Will also be using personal passwords when we start the game and the first one you type in will be the one for the whole game so make sure you write it down.

Are we going to write AAR's? If we do I think it would be good to collate them in one thread per player. Will we not read each others reports until after the game is finished? Or use them as a means of spreading black propoganda? [:D]

The e-mail i listed is my "public spam account".

I would highly reccommend setting up a gmail or yahoo account just for gaming use. That way your private e-mail wont get cluttered.

I'm not going to have so much spare time to be able to write AARs...

If there's still a spot, I'll take it.

I'm a total n00b to this scenario. My other PBEMs have been 2-player Ladder and Random scenarios.

Okay, All5n has been allocated Spain, nim8or has Italy. Sorry SlowHand, you were just to slow (geddit!). I will bear you in mind if someone drops out. Thanks for the interest.

Remember can everyone now PM the player before them in the list with their E-Mail address so that they can send their turn once the game starts (if they haven't done so already).

Can everyone post here to let me know that they are ready to start the game i.e. have received an E-Mail from the player after them with their E-Mail address to send their turns to.

Once everyone confirms this I will start the game (hopefully today) [:D]

About the AAR's that Dylan mentioned. I will turn the screenshots option on.

Perhaps its best to post screenies of turn 1 when we are actually on turn 3 as any enemies will see what armies you currently had, personal preference I suppose depends if you mind others seeing. It maybe too tempting for some to peek [:-].

I agree that we should start our own AAR on the AAR thread at some point.

I have had a few PM's already and I must say I am getting quite nervous about the whole thing. I can see that swords are already being drawn and negotiations are flowing. Oh Gawd!

Wish I could start but Nim8or has not told me his E-Mail address yet. He only joined today so give him a little time. I hope everyone has E-Mailed their addresses now to the player before them. If anyone has not received theirs by this time tomorrow put a post up here and they will have to be kicked off and replaced by another player. Don't want to have to do this but we need to get the game started by the weekend. So come on peeps, make sure you get those addresses sent off. [8|] Remember to post here if you are ready. I can only see 4 people who are currently ready, come on peeps.[:(]

Goddit ! LOL. Now you know whence my name came.
I will bear you in mind if someone drops out.

I'll continue to track this and/or the AAR thread and I'll PM you my email. Have fun, and keep those daggers well-hidden until the time is right.
