Glad to hear Elmer has finally got moving!

Along those lines...

How about making the distance Elmer has to travel so great that he can't quite get ashore in his first move?
In this scenario wich uses a small map I'd rather have a house rule stating that the Marines must stay 1 turn at sea before debarking. Elmer can get ashore immediately, he probably appreciates this.
