Well, by the time Backbreaker is out for the PC, Maximum Football 4.0 will be out with similar graphics.

That would be sweet.  Is Maximum Football is the only current game other than BCFx that has the option to play arcade style? I thought it was, but I keep hearing about new titles like BCFx so now not so sure.

Backbreaker still looks like a tech demo, albeit a very nice one.  It seems they're still trying to get EA to buy their system.  Once some footage of 11 on 11 (or 12 on 12) football comes out for Backbreaker, I'll start getting excited.  The animations are great and the promise of possibly another PC football title is great news as I tend to buy them all, if they're good...

Speaking of which, it happens that I actually ordered BCFX last week thru Amazon and should have it this week.  I'll post a few off topic impressions provided I can get it running okay on my PC.

The game is actually out on the market? The website gives the impression that we're looking at a future release. The FAQ section of the site just shows a blank grayish black screen.

I stand corrected- apparently, BCFX was released 11/07. Has anyone run across a forum or any site listing game features such as customizable play books, team editing and creation, etc?

I havn't found any forums yet, but there website says there will be one soon. You can find the features at Amazon http://www.amazon.com/s/ref=nb_ss_gw?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-keywords=bcfx I hope this helps a little bit.

Game Modes1. Practice Mode - Refine your strategies. Sharpen your reflexes. Prepare yourself for greatness.2. Online Mode - Bragging rights and more are on the line as you play online against competitors across the map.3. Classic Mode - Face your fiercest rival. Become part of a BCF tradition. Make history as you get the opportunity to play in an actual BCF Classic Game.

My take on the 3 modes are:
Practice Mode - Like quick play, choose 2 teams and play

Online Mode - uh...Online

Classic Mode - Maybe a season mode? Or pick 2 teams and play in a HBC Classic?
