Two battles vs. Lyhrrus, he claims the first but I score the second. Finally after like 7 matches or so lost against him, wo-hou!

First match : Dungeon, heavies, elites. He gets a Ballista-X (Lots o' LRMs plus a ML) while I get a Flush (all cannons from MG to AC20, one each). He spots me from afar and starts nibbling me to death. I manage to make it to cover, but alas, only for a short while. After a missed attack chance where he stood up and for some reason I couldn't break attack before he crouched again and my smokescreen failing me just a couple of seconds too early, he managed to drive too many LRMs into my most vulnerable RT. I did score a few hits (failing a slew of attempts at chances of 60+) but when my RT gave up a while later, leaving me lying on the ground, stripping me off my AC20 and AC12 and a damaged heat reg, I conceded.

Second match : Hell, heavies and elites. He drew a Headhunter-X (2GC, 2AC7, ML) vs my Frost Giant-X (3 CLG). I had pretty good cover so I managed to get in close, sucking only a couple of shots before closing the range. I spotted an unnecessary 1000 second wait, both waiting for the other in tombstoned hills not seeing each others, so we decided to leave our lovely spots simultaneously. I played the cat and the mouse a bit better, landing just one hex away from him before we spotted each others.

I tried to DfA but he charged me before I even got into air. A fair charge, we both fell, but I managed to get up quicker, and landing a blow that downed him again. He stood up and pretty soon destroyed my RT, leaving me with a damaged heat reg and 2 of my 3 CLGs gone. Especially ouchie in hell. We had a boxing fight, trading blows, but then I managed a CLG hit to his head, taking 87 life away. He tried to jump to safety soon after that, but my miraculous 37% CtH CLG attack hit his leg, crashing him to ground again. I managed to destroy his titan before my own shutdown, heating finally all the way up to 142C. A close call.

Jukka vs. Ducados, Ducados wins

Heavies, on Polar, at my home. I got a Headhunter (Twin AC7´s, Twin GC´s and a ML) and he got a Sentry (2AC12 and an AC20). We met very close to each othe, and i started calling his CT, charged to it, punched him until i got his engine destroyed. My first game vs. Jukka...

My second match against Ducados and I win. (Duc will post the first.) Here again, NBs were my saviour angel.

Heavies in hell with elite (?) pilots. He gets a Morningstar (2 TBs, this titan really stinks) while I get a Bad Omen (PG, NB and BRG, equally bad). We do not see each others until game second 700 or so, both having passed through the whole arena. I instantly decide that I should keep away from Duc at all costs, since 2TBs will rip me into pieces in no time. I fly over the top of a mountain and try to flee, but Duc just about keeps up with my pace, so I turn around and start to pummel him down after he scores a couple of lucky TB shots in at extreme range.

The second I start to turn around, he hits me to my LT, tattooing it red and doing damage to my engine that sits there. (Fortunately he never made a hit to that location again.) I manage to get in some nice NB shots, but due to my heat I decide to repair the engine while backing up to some faraway forests. Some hair-raisingly close calls by Duc, but then my repair fails and I resort to using NB and BRG only. After a couple of NB hits his jock's life-o-meter has dropped so low that he never hit me with another TB shot after that. I finally called two consecutive BRG shots at his head, killing the jock.

Rosary came over to my haus to play on Wed. night.
I promised to show off some of my new designs and was even able to deliver on the promise.

My Crumbler (5HMs,4@RM4s) beat his KnockAbout (NB,LL,2HM,6SRM4s) mostly by causing an ammo explosion in his LT but I did manage to take out his RT with the armor still green

Larkin, thanks for fixing that bug cause Mesons are like waaaaaaaay too much fun now

3 Games with Hetzer. I won 2, he won 1.

First game, I got his Gunsel while he got his Crumbler. Unfortunately for him, he crumbled instead, falling prey to an invaritable barrage of cannons, lasers, kicks and punches.

Second game in hell, I got his Heartbreaker while he got something with 2 SRM8s, 4 SRM4s and a ML with a Shield 5, the Heartbreaker's one major weakness. Even in hell, I was unable to heat Hetzer up sufficiently and finally he punched my CT out.

Third game at my place this time, he got my Kitchen Sink while I got a refit Avatar. After taking a barrage of missiles which turned my LL yellow, I got close enough to make life for Hetzer hot and miserable enough that he conceded. Partially it was due to the bad design on the Kitchen Sink in that he was unable to utilize all his weapons to the full potential.

Dueled PC on tues night. Was a scary game. I had my Immolator (4NRM14s,2flamers) he had a Crippler (3GC,4SLs). It was a race to see who could kill the other pilot faster. I had 53 life left when I kicked his head off. I know, I know "imitation is the sincerest form of revenge"

Won a duel of mediums against Michael. I got a Crossbow, he got an Instigator. I was boxed in in a corner by a river, which played in my favor. Game started badly for me, failed a standing up skill check 99/98! Went up a big hill and hammered him pretty badly before he could get in weapons range. His twin BRGs knocked me down a couple of times, but the river stopped him 4 hexes away from me. Kept pouding him with LRMs and SRMs, his jock went down to 15 HPs with the last salvo, along with his RL. He conceded then. I think my armor was still green all around.

Well, that was an underwhelming start for my first game in a week or two. I just couldn't get close enough before he damaged me a lot.
We sometimes catch a window
A glimpse of what's beyond
Was it just imagination
Stringing us along?
More things than are dreamed about
Unseen and unexplained
We suspend our disbelief
And we are entertained
