I managed to download a demo of Talonsoft's Divided Ground, but there is no manual included. Can somebody tell me how to use the Helicopters properly?

Many thanks in advance.

Don't get too familiar with the Talonsoft version of Divided Ground.

The Matrix version will be significantly different, better in my humble opinion, in how the weapon systems interact, especially helicopters.

Just wanted to see what Divided Ground was like.

Is there any particular tactic in using the helis more effectively?

Depends on the type of mission you are trying to perform.

Shooting and scooting, using the terrain to your benefit, works for the Talonsoft version.

Think of them as AFVs. Some are armed, some are transports, some are both. They have unlimited movement as far as terrain type.

Thanks for the replies.

The demo only has one scenario and you have to play the Israeli's but it looks pretty good.

Making me look forward to the Matrix version even more now [:)]

Divided Ground covered the 1948, 1956, 1967, and 1973 conflicts.

The countries included Isreal, Egypt, Syria, Jordan, and Iraq.  There may have been another country or two.

The battle of Chip'yong-ni, and also a companion to that with the relief effort of the 23rd rgt. Task Force Crombez. Me and David Galster playtested the Chip'yong-ni, plays fine against AI, but needs some tweaking for H2H!!

On the subject of the Vietnam War, while at the Half-Price Bookstore, I saw a copy of "A Viet-Cong Memoir," by Truong Nhu Tang.  I thought it'd be a cold day in hell before I read anything by someone in the Viet-Cong, but hell must be experiencing a cold spell.  I ended up buying and reading the book.  I highly recommend it.  It's written very well, it's informative, and it's written on a personal level.  It's not everyday we get to read about the Viet-Nam War from the perspective of the Viet-Cong.

Jason, where do you advice me to post my ideas/wishes about the modern version topic? Do you need them at all? [:)]

Can you narrow down the release date? I'm temped to order Divided Grounds off of Amazon, but if this is coming out in a few months I won't bother.

Hi JT

We're struggling for Easter, or shortly thereafter.
