All of the eight BBs that begin in Pearl Harbor are similar - but I usually hope the survivors with include (in order of priority): a) Maryland / West Virginia (16" guns) b) California / Tennessee, c) Arizona / Pennsylvania, and lastly d) Nevada / Oklahoma. The last two especially since they are the only ones with durability <100 (96, I believe).

OK you got me, and I got a lemon with Oklahoma [;)]

Nothing I could change though, it was the start up.

I contrast to loosing the CV's due to my stupidity [:@]

Well, I suppose Capt and I are just splitting hairs over which BBs survive Dec 7th - the good news is 3.2 handles the refloating of sunk BBs by returning approx 50% of them later in the war - so you should get 3-4 of them back in the 1944 timeframe. Of course, they would be of more use in 1942 [8|]

Looks like my Dutch subs and my B17 had a good day, damaging 1CV + 1CVl and deflecting a landing attempt at Java [:)]

Nice work! Java may hold beyond history and Wake already has - looks like your LBA is managing some victories.

Perhaps, perhaps not. Strong opposition by LBA can prevent landings.
Sometimes the TransportTF my even change to Cargo, then you have to go back to a base and build the TransportTF again. Same happens when a landing was unsuccessful.

Zamli getting lazy so I have to update [;)]

He got stuck at Java, India and Australia [8D]

A 3rd Jap landing at Wake failed [:D]

While he is busy in the south sea US BBTF's visited Midway. Unfortunately my landing TF's did not make it in 1 turn so we have to see how the next turn will develop [:(]

Maybe a little lazy.......

but there is nothing to write about and no interesting pics to present......
there is a small stalemate so to say -
Americans are still fighting on Philiphines, Batavia, Townsville, Dacca. I got bored about Wake I - so it is not my priority.
Also Americans are building their strengh around Port Moresby and Salomons; assault on Midway was repelled and 1 CA sunk in the process.

Horrible loses of my MCS's and TK's near Japan - if you know how to counter American subs - please tell me.......

No oil to fuel my BB's and CV's.......

more news in the future [:D]

Only one base on Philiphines left for Americans. Indonesia cleared of allied presence. Ceylon captured .....
Battles still around Dacca, Townswille, Espiritu Santo, Midway.

American subs are killing my transports........

As I've posted in another thread, you need patrol aircraft flying from the nearest bases. Spotted subs are less effective, and you may even sink a few. Nells and Betties will also work, but remember that ASW search range is half the aircraft's usual range.

If you have some escort ships to spare, you can put together a hunter-killer force with a CVE or two and send it to where the Allied subs are thickest.
Civil war? What does that mean? Is there any foreign war? Isn't every war fought between men, between brothers?

you mean I should creat a force consisting of DE's, CD's and CVE's and put in on a standoff say 2-3 hexes of Tokyo?
I have E13A and H6K nearby - several units, but still I managed to kill only 5 subs while they damage lots of MCS and TK per turn........

I think you have to run the TF between bases where the subs are waiting. Not sure if this will work. You should expect to lose one DE/DC per sub sunk.

If you really want an impact on the subs by ac you have to pull back G4/G3/D3/B5 from front duty. To my experience you will have a sink probability of approx.3% per contact.

BTW before you took Batavia I evacuated 1InfBrig (AU) and 2 ac sqn's [:)] Now that they arrived save I can tell you [:D]

Fighting for Calcutta, Rockhampton and clearing Dacca still continues.

Our pilots at Midway got a little bit upset of the regular allied bombard TF destroying their beloved Bettys and sworn a revenge. They got the chance this week. Although Yankees came at night as usual, most bettys were relocated to safe places. At first dawn the pilots got to their machines and flew searching for the night bandits. They were catched not so far from the shore.

The result/ sunk: 1BB of Colorado (?) class, 1 CA, 2 CL and 2 DD.
Additional 1BB of North Carolina class :))) was sunk near the US shores and 2 AO's as the marauders of the fleet trying to capture Maleojap I. a week ago.

Praise to our pilots and submarine crews :)

Update:
Next BB mission to Midway was less costly, seems his ac got tired [:D]
However it has not worked to distract zamli, he started to soften Milne Bay and Port Moresby [:(]

On success in the Indian ocean, my TB damaged 2 CVE's near Calcuta [8D]
