hat row in the Elements file is the information about potential immobilization of a tracked vehicle? The file doesn't actually have a header information...

Check it out in the workbook now available for download

I had to download it with IE as Firefox didn't seem to think there was a file available for download when I tried with it...

I can see that damage to tracks replicates the reliability issues that the german armour had in this phase of the war. I do think that the panthers are too easily disabled and that the likelihood of having 40% of the tanks throw a track when "wandering" off the roads (my experience on my first run through the grand campaign) is a bit to high. They were not THAT unreliable.

I had only a few tanks throw track so far - I am playing GC as Gerries and it's day 9. I actually starter to think it happens too little, as tanking in those conditions (mud, snow, woods) is something I am very familiar with. :)  So I almost allways stay on roads... What I think happens too often is artillery strikes immobilizing tanks - shrapnel and such in roadwheels and tracks may cause reduced movement (less smooth ride), but having a tank fully immobilized due to artillery is not very propable if there is no very close hit or actual hit on the vehicle... In CC having tanks in the "impact area" of arty strike usually is 100% immobilizing for all nearby vehicles.

well, yes i would be more realistic to have the vehicles slowed by 20,50,70% and less frequently completely stopped. that would be a good enhancement for a future CC.
