Thing that makes me want to throw up about this show is the 1950's dialogue. It so " The only good Indian is a dead Indian". Over and over about sent them to HELL!!!! I mean its bad enough the rest of the world has to listen to American overweening verbal arrogance. This takes it to a intergalactic level of self serving holier than thou self adulation. They could've made a balanced historical series with some objective analysis. Also less repetition of the CGI as they come back from commercial. Man does that get old!! It would've been something special. The 1973 series World at War comes to mind by the BBC as a prime example of excellence in presenting a retelling of history.

I was just riding my bike on the trainer while the episodes covering the Battles of Satan Cruz and Guadalcanal were being shown.

I find it telling (about the authors and producers of this show) that they never mentioned the damage the Hiei had already taken when Enterprises planes found her. As well, they never mentioned that the Avengers of the Cactus Air Force put more torpedoes into the Hiei than did Enterprises planes...
