And here is Fiji, As a kid I spent a year living in the centre of the main island. Played shooting firecrackers through the fortifications at Suva, and visited the gun positions near Nadi.
Maybe I shall visit again this game

And my first thing to report, there is no second "n" in Nadi (You say Nandi, but it is spelt Nadi!).
The TF symbols were modified about a month ago, they look fantastic and help you to understand what things are.
The next build will have the latest artwork, so I'm avoiding showing that just yet.
cheers
Rob

Major map changes!

Now for Japan.
One really nice change (of many!) is when you mouseover a base, in this case Tokyo. Makes finding that engine factory or armaments plant really easy.
Lots of subtle changes to Japan, one of the big issues to overcome is unlearning stuff from stock... and that is one of the purposes of this AAR.

WOW!.
This is going to be production NIGHTMARE...
Not only heavy, but also light industry and refineries.
What's a "HA-35" and a "HA-44". Are those seperate engines[&o][&o][&o][&o]?

Yes the HA-35 and HA-44 are new engines, see the screenshots of WITPDecdoer (posted earlier) for a list of Enines available at the start.
Like stock there are some you need lots of, and some only a few. Between WITPDecoder and the game itself it is fairly easy to find out what you need.

Brilliant, the Japanese start with a, very historically, 0 Kates produced per month.
How is the AI going to cope with this ???

North central China.
LOTS of work has gone into improving the game in China. Garrisons now apply to BOTH sides, many units in the Japanese rear areas, tricky for both sides.
It is now much harder to surround entire stacks compared to stock... having said that if you stuff up and tip the balance then either side can more forward.
One area of weakness still is land combat when one side has many more (and bigger) guns than the other. It has recently been modified though so we shall see how it plays out in the next build.
It will probably take a future patch to really improve it, but at worst it is the same as stock, and usually it is much better due to the changes already made.
Cheers
Rob

Production kicks in soon. They have small pools of both the N1 and N2 versions to start.

What is clear is that players cannot build one massive stack on land or on sea and go on a rampage
