RE: TriplePlay : Western Allies Perspective
Comrade Stalin demands an immediate explanation why the supposed British allies are retreating!
RE: TriplePlay : Western Allies Perspective
19420601 : Rumors abound that there is a conflict on the Russo-German border, but evidence is lacking. The German and Italian prisoners we capture tell us that the Ostheer consider that little skirmish a rest area compared to the Italian campaign. Rumors abound that Soviet skill at Potempkin villages has been extended to wooden tanks. Vodka sales are at an all time high, with the Kremlin major purchasers.

19420816 : Staff failed to put together a report for 19420801, but in general the attempt to seal off the center failed. This led to the static situation we are beginning to see.

RE: TriplePlay : Western Allies Perspective
Campaign notes : It has been evident for a while that the Axis is simply too strong on my fronts. I knew Comrade Gardner was persuing his own agenda, Finland and Turkey, made this clear. The British are beginning to be nervous about the Vichy border for a reason. I did not see what the Axis would get out of the deal (and still do not) but it is clear that the totalitarian mindset is at play. If Gary declares war on me this turn I can expect big trouble in the Middle East, and possibily an invasion of Great Britain. I have been waging a war against the Axis, now I must wage one against the Totalitarian Powers. So be it.
