Well naturally Messkit Bob is no good. Sidearm Bob sounds pretty good, but Bayonet Bob - that's a winner! It's downright rugged.

Wow, Robert Clary of Hogan's Heroes fame (he was "Lebeau") was deported to a concentration camp where many members of his family died.  And Werner Klemper ("Colonel Clink") served in the US military. Thanks for the link, M1bob, it taught me a few things.

General Stuart is my favorate.  I honestly think they need to name a bomber after that man.  He had absolutely no obligation to put himself into harms way yet he did it anyway.  How many of us would have volunteered to do that? 
 
I know many of us would like to say we would but in all honesty, how many would?  I was in Kuwait during the 2003 invasion and stayed there for most of the ground war.  If asked to get closer to the action I probably would have said OK but I certainly wasn't complaining of being a REMF during the fighting.
