Which brings an interesting new question to mind: what do you call the battles you watch while suffering from the synch bug?

Congrats on putting together such a fine summit. A few questions:

1) Looks like you guys are really enjoying those glasses of ice tea, but why is it foaming?

2) I've heard alot about trolls and stuff, but you guys all look pretty normal.

3) Where are the Confederates? (Isn't this a gathering of Army of Northern Virgina WitP afficionados?)

4) Where are the babes? Aren't most WitP's players female?

WELL said! Congrats on a great get together!

Man, all I can say is that its not a good thing to have Rum for breakfast! [:(] I was hurting the next day, that's for sure! Great to meet you guys, sorry I had to head out so quickly.

Glad you guys had a good time.  I suppose that a get together in Brazil would be expecting a bit much?  A bunch of Gringos throwing down beers would be a magnet to the females and that would only be a distraction from a good WITP discussion.

What really went on at the DC summit...

What was really going on while the "troops" were quaffing a few beverages.

There was actually a hot babe over to the left I was glancing at and not worrying about the "flat root beer".

OK then here's the plan for the WITP gathering in Brazil:

1 It's really spelled Brasil in Portuguese
2 Arrival times will commence within 72 hours of the release of AE so you can fiddle with the game and read the manual a few times on the flight down
3 You must bring a case of excellent beer with you so I won't get thirsty while getting to use my English talking strategies
4 Sunglasses are mandatory so when looking at the girls nobody knows for sure
5 Wives and/or girlfriends may become tourists or see #4 for your safety
6 BBQ and more drinks will be mandatory, repeatedly

Sorry tocaff, but I won't be able to make it to your Brazil party.  72 hours after the release of AE, I will be falling into an exhausted slumber at my computer.  I will not have moved from my computer chair during the previous 71 hours.  It's sad growing old and being unable to last more than three straight days awake.

Considering that it's a 10 hour flight from NYC to Sao Paulo you should get some shut eye on the plane, especially considering your exhausted state.  Excuse denied.  [;)]

Not sure how I would explain a trip to Brazil to my family, but I will start working on my excuse.

Steve,

I have some real world commitments in the coming weeks but myabe late June or early July would work. That could conflict with the release of AE though and folks wanting to delve into it.

If indeed AE does come out, why not get together as a "Happy birthday AE Party"? [:D]
