I'll add:

- never push the red button
- apple juice and fried chicken go together in small amounts only
- don't wear a red shirt beaming down w/ Kirk

I can attest to the first. Been replaying the original System Shock after finally getting to work again on my PC. Quick plot info...your supposed to stop the bad guy from lasering the Earth to death. Well...having found the control room for it....but not yet being prepared to deal with it.....i couldn't resist the lure of a big RED BUTTON there. I pushed it.....and got a msg from the bad guy thanking me for having blown up the Earth for her. oops.

But......but it was a really BIG RED BUTTON!!!!!!

Holy Heck that is funny. Can you imagine the poor schlub...he tries out for the part....then he goes back to waiting tables sweating out the decision for two weeks....then...joy of joys, his agent calls with the wonderful news, "YOU GOT THE GIG!"....there is a round of drinks for all at some place on Sunset...a $400 bar tab..then he spends hours practicing his "Ensign look" in the mirror...he calls his family in Des Moines...leases a new BMW...and...on the day of days he reports to costume dept at NBC studios in Burbank...30 minutes early and pacing back and forth in excitement...the jaded costumer shakes his head and pulls out some notes, then heads into the back for a few minutes, only to return with a red shirt[:D][:D][:D]

Red shirt! Red Shirt! What do you mean red shirt. I just leased a new BMW! Ahhhhhhhhh......................!!!!!

whilst it did indeed make me laugh out loud - is this not the campest pic of our 4 heroes - particularly your man Kirk, who can only be described as mincing across that barren land

in a 'youre now beyond the help of your men and crew'? - yes

and everyone will see youre a red jumper wearer from the harried, weary look on your face, knowing beyond all hope - youre going to get zapped shortly
