So the next date is the 16th; I don't think Tojo's resignation will qualify.

Erm, 7/4 was hardly a significant date for release...

Then maybe you shouldn't say things like:
Erm, if you look at the calendar, and see what date it is on Saturday, maybe you should think about the likelihood of it going Gold today or tomorrow...

And then stop wagging your finger.

It just came to me that the most important day of the year falls this month, the 26th of July is my birthday, and therefore would be a particularly important date to release AE. [;)]

I agree, it's also my birthday. [8D]

I agree. It's not my birthday, but you guys deserve AE on your big day! I"ll take a copy too while they're at it.

My wife's birthday is July 25, so if it's released on that date I'll buy her a copy. Well no, she doesn't play it, and I'd hate to let it go to waste, but it's the thought that counts, right?

What an excellent fellow you must be, having the great good fortune to be born on the very best birth-date of the year. [:D]

Oh ye of little faith. I know it will be July of this year. Or maybe August if a few more bugs pop up. But that is it at the latest.

Now tell me DP, what exactly is a 'fallow'?? Or is that another kiwi-ism??

BTW, do you usually play as Japan or Allies? And have you ever tried a PBEM?

Am dedicated AFB (have played as Japanese- but don’t like force structure), have ongoing PBEM with Shark7 which we will restart when AE is out.
Also have PBEM to restart in AE with Ramjet that we suspended a few weeks ago, so if you wanted PBEM would have to be slow one.

No just being nationalistic, I suppose you could call me a student of airpower. It took me a long time to find a picture of Kiwi Corsairs, photos of them seem to be as scarce as ‘hen’s teeth’. Thats why it took me so long to make a Kiwi Siggy.

From other thread, Erik said:

Well, I don't recall ever saying that, but this seems like the most likely date range:

July 19, 1944 - U.S. Marines invade Guam in the Marianas.
July 24, 1944 - U.S. Marines invade Tinian.
July 27, 1944 - American troops complete the liberation of Guam.

Damn, we are getting close...

July 26, 1945 - Components of the Atomic Bomb "Little Boy" are unloaded at Tinian Island in the South Pacific.
