Hi all,
ORIGINAL: soeren01

Anyone tried the SunVirtualbox yet?

VirtualBox on PC can't simulate DirectX for it's virtual machines (i.e. you have Windows host PC and virtual Windows machines).

Don't know about that capabiliy for VirtualBox on Mac.

I do use Sun VirtualBox for long time on my home and work PC's and have many TEST Linux and Windows distributions one of which is Windows7 (better to test in virtual environment than in real world [;)])...

It should be golden ... I might try the same thing on my MacBook Pro just to test it.

Been running on my PC when at home and using parallels on older Intel based Mac Book Pro when on the road. No real issues just the screen is much smaller but that is a laptop issue. I usually run in full screen mode in parallels and try not to have much else going on but have not noticed any issues. I switched to the Beta over the weekend and have been able to transfer my ongoing game back and forth between both machines with no issues.

I use a 13" MacBooK Pro. I'm running WitPAE with both patches under parallels. And yes, just like all the other Macs, it runs just fine for me. For 3D work, you need boot camp, but for superior wargames like this, go Mac.
