RE: Fantasy Football 2009
I am one of the six, and it would be better to have more teams. It is very early for a draft don't you think?

Yup, agreed. Way too early.
RE: Fantasy Football 2009
So, I was just at the site and it says the draft can not be held because of an odd number of teams, so now what? [&:]

Sorry guys, I was hoping to get a last minute 8th team but it did not work out. I will resked the draft for next weekend and hopefully I can get at least 1 if not 3 more teams in.

RE: Fantasy Football 2009
THe PRo league draft went down. Looks like quite a few missed the draft including me, unfortunately.
In the first week of waivers I am going to ask that only those who missed the draft partcipate so they can try to fill out there defensive rosters and unload some deadwood. Next week I will open it ack up again to everybody.
The Hall of fame league needs at least one more team, I'd really like to see 3. It drafts next week end.
The Basic league could use a few more teams as well. It will draft the 30th.

Hmph...I would, but apparently Yahoo only lets you have 4 teams total. [:(]

I took the 8th spot so you can get the league drafted. Since I have other teams I will gladly bow out if anyone else wnats the spot.

We now have an odd number of teams in the Basic league. Anyone sitting on the fence, please join us. It's lots of fun, and the prize is a Matrix Games download. [8D]

Like I posted above, I'll drop this league as I have a few other teams. I just joined to get the number even. However, 10 teams is much better than 8......

We got 8 teams so I ran the draft. Hopefully everyone in the basic league will stay active.

RE: Fantasy Football 2009
Sorry for the issues with getting the budgets updated. My win 7 upgrade left me with a laptop that only works in VGA mode until (if?) Toshiba comes up with a video driver that works...
May have to go back and reinstall Vista...but I really like the speed of Win 7...
I will try to get thins updated this weekend. If anybody thinks they really got hosed because of this, let me know...
Again my apologies for the technical difficulties...

RE: Fantasy Football 2009
Matrix Fantasy Football Playoffs are in full swing this week!
In the Classic League We have 4 8-5 teams going at it:
USS America Stepdads (who I failed to knock out...) vs Long Island Mad Cows and
Drunken Armadillos vs Bay Area Nightmares
In the Pro League (the stat havy league with IDPs) We have Matrix Own 11-2 Green Giants vs 8-5 Little Guitars and
10-3 Hessian Cavalry vs 8-5 Fudgehammers
In the Hall of Fame League (the points heavy keeper league) we have 10-4 Poundcake vs 8-6 Norther Horde and
the Vebber Family Smackdown as my daughter (using MY strategy against me...
Yikes the Vikes at 9-5 takes on my faltering Pack of Pain (who'd a thunk Aaron Rodgers and Kurt Warner would COMBINE for negative points.... Duhoooooo!)
Maybe nexk year I will have to use my daughter's draft strategy of "picking the cutest guys" (She ended up with Tom Brady and Wes Welker, Tony ROmo and Jason Witten and Brett Favre and Bernard Berian...) and added insult to injury with Larry Fitzgerald and Ricky Williams... Well if I have to lose, at least its to someone who is strong in the Fantasy Force
Good luk to all!

Well, both of my teams bought it this week....almost had those Green Giants!
Best of luck to all who are left in the championships.
