To all of you that like to turn over control of some theaters to AI all I can say is :

( in Bill Clinton voice ) "I feel your pain".

I understand why regional control was removed to enable the "smarter global AI" to run.
I wish it could be returned but it won't.
Perhaps in Witp2 the smart global AI will coexist with regional AI.
You are right as long as thre new AI is smarter. I know it can be more agressive . Smarter? I don't know ,waiting for the next patch.
However after this intense effort for AE, I doubt we will ever see anything like WITP2.
So lets make AE the best it can be[;)]
Including bringing back some form of theater control even if its not what it once was[&o]
There's a song in there som place[:D]

Yes, I like the idea of a quiet CHina scenario as the 1084 update has given.  Leaves either player free to concentrate in the more vital and dynamic areas.  Not that China didn't suck up a load of resources, time and manpower in WWII because it did, but overall it was a sideshow going nowhere other than into a black hole...

Greetings All:
Thx for your comments. After further play, I still think some form of AI control would be
beneficial, and in retrospect, I may not have made the purchase. I think "rhohltjr" mentioned a "WiTP2". Anyone know about that? I would like to see some type of module
which would enable the AI to control some areas as before, perhaps with some degradation of the AI. I believe the deletion of this "feature" should have been mentioned in the game description.
Thx

WITP-2 is a wish for program that includes many ideas that people want. It is only a dream at this point, so don't your hopes up.

AI control of theaters has been explained before, it is not possible.

Any one that researched WITP-AE knew about the AI not controlling theaters anymore, it was not a secret that was kept from us.

Also, I am one who dreams of a WITP-2.
