I can find all three entries, but all of them report that the arrival date is 42/12

the first one is Chinese and should be 42/12. The second is Dutch and should be available 42/3.
And the third on is USA and should be available 41/12. But when I look at them they all say
42/12.

Yeah, that's what I mean: no matter which one you select, the program just shows the first one (the Chinese one).
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

That is because our filter is working on name, not aircraft ID number, so it is only showing the first one (the chinese) ... in the Aircraft tab, it is correct. We'll fix that soon [;)]

Many thx for ur great work.

I've got a vista64 bit system too. I've got it up and working sorta. Had to use the vcredist_x64.exe naturally. Actually i used both, but the program seems to work.

Only problem is no matter my settings in the properties file. I can only get info from jap side. Even after changing the side to 1 instead of the 0. That said its 5am so its prolly just me. ill trouble shoot further tomorrow.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

Okay, let us know what your results are.

I think if you change the witptracker.properties file after the database has been created, you'll need to wipe out the database files before you re-run. The setting determines which records get populated in the database, so you may have "old" data in there.

I see the problem, Tomcat. Someone was referencing through a null pointer. Naughty boy... [:-]

I assume you were able to see the LCU details for other LCU's, right?

Floyd
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Yes, I was able to see the LCUs ok. Is there something in my modded scenario that caused the null pointer, or was it just a case of an oversight in the program?

Some quick notes, later to be added to the web site:

These are changes from the original Tracker for WITP
[*]New alerts for bases which are below their req. raw materials
[*]Base screen now has dock and Ship Yard repair / PRA pts
[*]Devices have nationality filter
[*]Ship Class - tonnage added
[*] Aircraft- added column Nationality
[*]Aircraft comparison - Added maneuver, service rating.
[*]Ship repairs - Min Yard size req, and min Port, port capacity, repair capacity, and other pts. Not all but a good start.
[*]AirProduction - added plane details, drop down on airgroups, reinforcements available ..and other things...
On the airProduction screen, by clicking Totals and then viewing Airgroups on the bottom panel, there is a drop down which enables you to see airgroups which can draw planes that turn ... NB** naval based units (on ship) may be incorrect, and those which have been split also may be in error (but it is a start)
[*]Engines - Planning expanded to see repairs, pools etc
[*]Industry - overview has changed. Also tracks turn sensitive changes to HI/LI/OR production, where raw materials are lacking. Chart has changed, I'm not much of a drawer .. any comments ? Misc. changes to Oil and Supply tabs ...
[*]Airgroups - some extra filters in the special filter area ... including "Upgrade to" and "Reinf Avail"
[*]TaskForce - docking Level required (yes we hear your calls for alerts on Endurance)
[*]ShipProduction - Optimum Chart changed

These are some of the cosmetic changes I can remember, tutorials (about production) for new users will be posted as I get to them.

Hope you like it ...

Might have found a minor problem, in the summery I am showing Japan having only 10 ak's to start and 13 total , but for tankers I show 65 to start and 265 total? Seems a little off to me:-) It is scenario 2 and I am playing Japan doing turn one setup. The other classes seem correct but this just jumped out at me. It is just ships active thats off, down below in ship classes it is correct.

here is a screenshot Image
Thanks for the great tool as I cannot even play without it.[&o]
You have the ability to arouse various emotions in me: please select carefully.

Thanks, bug no2 ...An oversight, I'm not checking all the other AK classes for the summary, I'll do that today. Thanks.

I'm not sure how quickly Floyd want to update this, but probably get these incremental fixes pretty soon (also its bed time on his side of the planet)

I installed Java and both vcredist and still have the same issue as P. Hausser. It creates four files but nothing actually launches.

I start the program by pressing the witptracker.jar "exe" file not the .bat (batch) file as told in the instructions.
Just wanted to make sure that u do the same. Cuz i've never neither in witptracker been able to start it via the .bat file.

Kind regards,

Rasmus

I am trying to run the jar file, not the bat file, but thanks for the input.

I looked for some kind of log file, closest I could find is a trackerdb text file, the last line is
INSERT INTO AIRPOOLLOSSLARGEDELTA VALUES(999,33,0,0,0)

Not sure what else to try - without any kind of error message it's hard to tell what to try.

This is the properties file, in case I did something silly

Dir=[C:\Matrix Games\Patch War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition]
GameType=[1]
Side=[0]
Password=[<redacted>]
SaveFile=[wpae020.pws]
SaveMode=[1]

erstad,
I'll PM you with my email address, cause I want to have a quick look at the save file.. but you don't need to tell us your password [X(] ... our errors are not logged rather sent to the stdout print screen (dos command), which obviously you are not getting cause you don't use the batch file.
Strange it is working on some 64 bit systems but not others ...

For others:
Let's assume it isn't our program first, what java version do you have ?

1. The Batch file do IMHO not work on 64 bit systems, one has to use the jar file.

2. I have 32 Bit Java as I use 32 Bit Internett Explorer on my Windows 54 Bit system. Most Windows 64 Bit users use the 32 Bit explorer as the 64 bit explorer are not compertible with the wast majorety of webpages. (due to flashplayers or similar)..

3. I have always had 32 bit Java, but just in case I changed to 64 bit Java and got same result.

4. WITP Tracker and WITP Staff works perfectlly on my system, AE Tracker do not work. It only generates the db files then nothing happands (regardless of how long I wait).

5. I drowe down to work for a few hours ago, and tested it on in Total 4 Independent Vista 64 systems, so including my home PC I have tested it on
5 In Total totally independent Vista 64 systems. (I did uninstall AE after every attemt, so there should not be any licence issues).

6. I get no Error Message that I'm awere of, or have seen in any way.

7. I have Java 6 Update10 (6u10) Installed

8. I have the vcredist_x64.exe and vcredist_x86.exe Installed. (the remeinding one are not compertible with system)

9. I want to point out agian that WITP TRACKER work on this system but AE TRACKER do not work.

Sorry for being such a pain in the ass on this, but Tracker is such a perfect (and neccesary) program.

Mr Hausser,
can you do one last thing and that is to update to Java Version 6 Update 16, you are a few versions behind. I understand your frustration and we'll try to work out what is happening. After updating, can you delete all the trackerdb*. files, and try one more time for my satisfaction ... thanks [;)]

Paul,
I'm not sure what to do from here you and Erstad are having similar problems ... let me do some reading, chat with Floyd and see if we can get back to you over the weekend.

Sorry mate,
