A Little Gem

Based on Slitherine’s popular tabletop wargaming system by the same name, Field of Glory now comes to the PC in a faithful adaptation of this acclaimed miniatures wargame! Without the calculations and measurements required for a tabletop game of Field of Glory, the PC version accurately represents Ancient and Medieval combat where you make the important and fun decisions on the battlefield. This forum also supports the Rise of Rome, Storm of Arrows and Immortal Fire expansions to Field of Glory.

This is a great game. I played 3 or 4 games solo, completed one PBEM and have 6 games in various stages of completion by PBEM- all in the day I purchased and downloaded it.

Just having a ball with it. It works nicely when you logon - run through your turns and come back a little later to do your next turn.

Multiplayer games are quick and funny and the replayability is high.

You will love it nukkxx- one of my best computer game buys recently. I may buy 2-3 a year.

I was concerned about the simplicity of game play, which is actually a strength. When playing a large scenario it certainly helps. Instead of the nit picking details it allows you to concentrate on the strategy.

Since today is Saturday, with a large snow storm heading this way, I am hoping to get a lot of turns in. Life is good...

Exactly! That's why this game is a treat. Well said. [8D]
