I didn't get an email from this person. I feel left out. [:(][:@]

You can send me your serial # if that will make you feel better. [;)]
Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Erik Rutkins et. al. from Matrix have been very helpful in the past when new (or old) owners of the game have misplaced their serial numbers. If you think this is a legitimate email request, I'd refer the person to Matrix support. They can confirm the purchase and help him identify the location of the purchased serial number.

It's not legitimate. Reeks of feeble attempts at deception and cleverness.

I knew that, Terminus. I was trying to offer objective information to the PP about his post and future options for other forum members in a similar situation. My opinion re: the legitimacy of his inquiry was not what the PP asked.

Not too clever since every single note on the forum help thread eventually gets...helped.

He propably updated the game and noticed that the previous serial he used doesnt work anymore. Matrix games are that much niche that their patches are usually left uncracked. The only way to get patched matrix games is to buy them and considering how good the patches are you really want them so there is no choice. You either buy or you dont play. Its one of the few DRMs that actually work.
