Great to see stauffenberg back in the saddle.
This year looks really good for TOAW with a new patch right ahead, one of the best scenario designers back and with him also some of best scenarios.
Sounds almost too good so if it's a dream please don't wake me up or I go ballistic.

I had missed this thread originally, so I am glad that BD66 posted and I had a chance to read it.  Great stuff ahead!

Good to see the TOAW community still has a pulse--with the exception of my superlative playtester L'zard of course who is never AWOL.

You can check out the recently updated map here:

Yes exactly. The more I worked at it the more I realized it needed to be expanded. It's a complete remake. I'll probably start a thread over at RD on how it is going and invite comments.

I think the community certainly still has a pulse, albeit a faint one. Probably your new scenario will spark up some more interest once its finished.

Not only that also the new patch with all its enhancements will bring more life into it.
Personally I just wait for it to get some PBEM started years after my last PBEM game.

LOL! That's true, seeing as the darling is being done in 3.4, eh?

Y'all will have to wait for Ralph and the Toads to get the patch finished..........

I think the pulse is faint for a lot of people, because they are in suspended animation, waiting for the patch to come out.

I have 2-3 scenarios in "suspended" animation waiting for 3.4. Should I wait? Is there any way to get a beta version of 3.4 to test the new features?

Hopefully that's not what is holding the patch...

(not that one, seeing things from the outside, can make any sense of the time taken by this patch)

Good things come to he whom waits... or, so they say...

Just waiting for Ralph et al to de-cloak/appear to both update and dispell the doubt.

From what I see (*heh*), the update will be WELL worth it... The new supply and turn order will be worth it.

But it would be nice to hear at least something.
Last Blog entry is from 17th January so a bit info about how it's going would be good.

Stauffenberg now has a 'project page' on RD concerning his newest scenario 'Drang nach Asien'. DnA will post as soon as the last of the toaw patch program is finished and a little light testing goes on.

see it here: http://www.the-strategist.net/RD/phpBB2 ... .php?t=842

Good Stuff, McBride!

Sorry, man, looks like you'll have to wait. Hopefully not that long, eh?
