Well after some technical difficulties were back on my modem got fried in a thunderstorm on Saturday morning. Well my some of my pre-dreadnought's got trashed by one of his BB TF's. I wanted to take some screenshots but his ships were invisible probably because my convoy that the pre-dread's were escorting was pretty big. I've only seen the other sides ships invisible one other time actually the first time I played the game and attacked a Japanese convoy. Well anyway I'm back and were back on [:)]

IJN BB Katori succumbed to the damage she recieved on 7/07. Katori was the lead ship in the Katori class of pre-dreadnought battleships of the Imperial Japanese Navy, designed and built by Vickers shipyards, in the United Kingdom. The name Katori comes from a famous Shinto shrine in Katori City, Chiba, located to the northeast of Tokyo. Its sister ship was the battleship Kashima.

Here's a pic of the surface action at Shanghai from 7/14 his forces surprised my BB TF. Whilel my ships managed to destroy this allied ASW TF but I don't think it was worth the damage caused to my ships. 3 less allied DD's out of hundreds to worry about [:)]

A great naval battle is fought at the strait of Taiwan that claimed the IJN BB Kashima and several IJN DD's. The IJN BB Kashima was a Katori class pre-dreadnought battleship of the Imperial Japanese Navy, designed and built by Armstrong Whitworth at the Elswick Yard, in the United Kingdom. The name Kashima comes from the famous Kashima Jingu Shinto shrine in Ibaraki prefecture, located to the northeast of Tokyo. Its sister ship was the battleship Katori which was sunk earlier in this campaign. This was a fun battle to watch too bad about the outcome. If you'll notice I'm using some of Hellfirejets new artwork for some of the Japanese ships [:)] Trenches are beginning to form on Luzon hopefully we can break the line there before serious reinforcements arrive.

Hi Aces8 great naval battle, the new ship art I done look great in game, thankyou for using my art in your AAR it makes it all worth while,I will do the art work for every ship in the game and more,it just takes time to do the ships, but when you see them in your AAR I feel that it's time well spent,I just wish we could get more players posting on this forum, and show Matrix that this fantastic game still has a pulse!!!![:)]

Graham.

I just figured I'd show this screenshot of the sinking of the IJN CL Tone. She took a major beating before going down. The U.S. BB Oklahoma sank in this combat from damage recieved that same day.

Hi Aces8,Since you highlighted the Protected cruiser / Light cruiser Tone, you inspired me to do its new art work,so here it is![;)]

Hiya Joseph, Big difference in the two version's of ship art in the AAR,I do hope that the forum members like what I'm trying to acheive, with upgrading the ship art for the game,I'm hoping to complete all the Japanese ships soon,so I will be doing the Destroyers and Submarines etc after finnishing the capital ships.Love the AAR by the way great work [&o][&o][&o]
