Red Orchestra has a good community...never heard and saw any problems there at all. Looking forward to RO2.

Best shooter out there. I've been playing it for years and the community is great. I also can't wait for RO2.

Ditto on Red Orchestra.... Very realistic shooter as well!

I'm a member of iracing. Most people there are mature, clean racers. But as with anything, not just online, you have to deal with the a$$hole factor. For every 10 people you get together at least one is going to be an a$$hole.

The folks who are ass holes, get to hide behind the screen online, so they grow bolder.

The best thing I have found is to /ignore I do not see the posts and then I suggest to all to do the same.

Most then with no one to fight with get bored and quit.

Some though get their fun from making others mad, if they did it in RL they would be shunned, and perhaps hurt or arrested.

Most have lifes they have little or no control over and believe by making others unhappy they will feel better, in some ways I pity them for such a shallow life, then I come to my senses and make sure they are on ignore.

But I have met many really good folks online, it is just only the very best and the worst stand out.

Regarding pranksters (or punks); years ago I would frequent public servers to show my skill with my FW190, courtesy of IL2 Stormovik.

On multiple occasions as soon as my game opened I would see an aircraft rolling backwards on the runway-from firring its guns. Wreaked planes all over-some guys just love to strafe players that just logged in. It could take 3 or 4 tries to get airborne-then I could have some fun. I have to admit that the first time I saw this mess it was funny. IN time it grew to be boring-or silly. The missions were hard enough without the madhouse at home base.

There were some secure servers available for the guys that joined various squadrons. I never got that deep into it though.
