Would not be at all surprised if it was Marky using a new forum identity.

His spelling would reveal his identity soon, though. [;)]

Let me get this straight:  The IJ player takes Manilla on 12/25, and wins a long  list of shock attacks....and then resigns?--because of some naval losses.

Guess the AI will be hard enough for me--it is 1/7 and I am just on the outskirts of Manilla.  [From both the North and South, however]

For my newbie info:  Is the constant shock attacking in these combat reports usual/advisable?  I had been using deliberate attacks almost constantly, considering shock attacks as something desperate (or to quickly take an oil facility), or something one was unfortunately forced into when crossing a river.  Or is this part of the aggressive, high-risk, courting disaster type of play of the PBEMer.   Even against the AI, I like to "keep it real" and keep risks down.  (Similarly, the plane Op losses drive me wild thinking about the waste--but I enjoy the challenge it provides)

Number one principle: The inherent worth and dignity of all people.

The "main show" is probably at Clark Field, or Bataan.

Shock attacks work well against enemy units that do not have much firepower (shock-attacking troops are subjected to a second round of defensive fire). I wouldn't shock attack an entrenched enemy, who can put up a decent amount of firepower and is not disrupted, unless I'm considerably stronger. Or really, really desperate...

1. The opponent has 32 different games running. None of which have progressed past the first month.
2. The opponent has a total of 25 forum posts over 4 years of registration. All of which are asking for 'fresh meat' on the opponent's wanted forum.
3. Wanton insults about others' strategic capabilities, general intelligence, ethnic origin, or particular amino acid sequence on a particular gene.

Don't you be hatin' on Marky!!![:)]

hehe, the first person I was thinking about too [;)]
