how is it?

The team behind the award-winning game Advanced Tactics is back with a new and improved game engine that focuses on the decisive early days of World War II! Decisive Campaigns: The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris is the first in an innovative series of operational World War II wargames that also include a strategic element. The Blitzkrieg from Warsaw to Paris simulates Germany’s military successes in Poland and France in 1939 and 1940 (including also a hypothetical “Sea Lion” invasion of Great Britain).

It's a game that's fun to play and lose...and plays fast enough to want to start again. The AI is very good. The game mechanics are elegantly simple and yet sophisticated in the combinations required to master game play. Like it.

hank... you were not dreaming. Vic did a game that is called People's Tactics and then it was going to People's Tactics II and... that became AT.

You can DL People's Tactics if you like from Vic's community web site. PT had one thing that was nice that didn't make it to AT... leaders.

Funny thing.... I had the dream deal with a wargame like that. It is a game on the battle of Tsushima... the naval battle where the Japanese defeated the Russians. Had it and played it and it was a pretty good game except it had no AI and I deleted it. But, then I had a dream about it and went looking on the INet for it but try as I might, could not find it ANYWHERE (it was a free game).

Finally gave up but then, was copying some of the zip files to CD to be sure I don't lose them and, sheesh, there it was in the zip file I got it in initially.

So, ya never know.
