The allies can assemble quite a force in the DEI. I try to have a surface force equal to the best they could bring in the early weeks. If you sortie BBs from Hiroshima you can assemble an SCTF of 3BB, 4+CA, and numerous CL/DD. If you want consolation, read my first AAR about what happened at Davao in a similar situation.

If you pick a mid ocean hex and then later run into the final destination, he is less likely to get good sigint and has less time to react properly if he does.

Allied Carriers have moved West from Yesterday and are currently south of Iwo Jima. I am unhappy about him waltzing directly through Indian country, it strikes me as unrealistic at the beginning of the war.

The KB is over 20 hexes to the East away. I will not pursue as he's probably heading for the DEI.

This makes invasion planning require KB support now in the DEI otherwise he'll jump everything.

Perhaps a couple of high speed runs with the KB can catch them.

There so far in Indian Country it's far from being realistic.
