Cheers Mate !

A small to medium sized scenario - like Siam/Burma - sure would come handy to learn the ropes of the land combat model.
As did a similiar scenario in WitP.

Well, I have the impression, that this is not on your agenda - rather an attempt on adapting the existing modeling to meaningful smaler scenarios. Which I applaud. And of course, since you do all the work, you are the one to call the shots.

However, significant deviations from the official rulebook in a scenario should be pointed out explicedly.
Like: No stategic moves on secondary RRs for the japanese. Issues with pulling experienced pilots into theaterbased air units etc.

What is more - a small/medium scenario should be closer to historical "niceties" than the GC - right ? Just by defininition of scope. Eliminatinmg the Rahaeang line of approach may get the "historical" dates in line (because of a longer approach march) - but not the historical options and the reasoning behind it.

Simply put: What is your point with this scenario.

Remember that the first law of motion is to look where you're going. A man with a stiff neck has no place in an airplane.

My point was why not

everyone complains about not enough small map scenarios so why not write one was my logic.

this is a campaign full of what ifs given how the allies fought it so a small version seemed a good scen to do.
