Well at least this time I sank at least 3 BB's at Pearl even though the British BB's did not so much as even get a scratch on Dec 7,41. lol. In the previous game start the Repulse got nailed but no BB's at Pearl got sunk. :-)

I think that the Data Base changes also has an effect of how much damage is put on Air Bases in a bombing raid. I noticed that the amount of damage is considerably less than in previous game starts with Scen 2. Either less bomb effectiveness or better defence of the base. One of the two.

Less junk clogging up the drydocks for me, I guess.  Maybe repairs will be more streamlined instead of having every BB on life support. [;)]

Btw, I remember reading something about some moded scenarios that attempt to make the first few turns act in a more historical way, like placing TF Force-Z on its historical course. Does anyone know which these are, and has anyone had experience with them? Thanks in advance.

A true "historical course" for Force Z would have them remaining in Singapore during the first turn. They left at dusk, which would be the beginning of the night phase of turn two.
