Hate to spoil yer expectations..

But, you should have talked to your travel agent. All the hotels are taken and even if you could get a room; all the hot water is gone. Seems there is this bunch of frozen Americans that stand in lines for hours just to take a hot shower.

But, you will be pleased to know that the "Toll Operators" Convention has ratified this years contract with Management and we will be manning our booths for the forseeable future.

Kitty Kats.....!!!!

Run for your lives!!

Was that the Opel that you got into Jess? Sorry......:D

Considering the choices that 57m ATG had the Opels were the only option....considering they knew they were doomed.

Hey can't you just go around the Pillbox? I mean those guys were just finishing up a great hand of Poker.:p

If you are really nice to me and share your Cocoa, I'll save you a room at the Bastogne Hilton.:D

I'd rather lose Opels in the lead as they force your men to uncover themselves as opposed to my armor. Ok, lost some recons, killed some recons, removed roadblock in NE corner, removed pillbox in the middle of the road so kids could slegh. Reenforcements arrive to help clear remaing road blocks. Jess and I are making jerky to share with all our friends we meet along the way. Once I can get into open terrain look out, I'll squash your men in the woods if their not careful.

Little bit of an exchange in the north there. Toll booth operators are going home for the holidays it looks like.

Not much else going on out there.

Waiting for the tide to come in.;)

Ok, not much happening ran into some renegade toll operators, the warmer weather is causing snow to melt and slow down heavy armor. You must of done something wrong because the big cats are mad and on the PROWL so beware. Weatherman says overcast with chance of flurries, time to resort to sneeking again until I can flush you out of hiding.

High Visibility....High Winds

Post by TimeTanker »

Starting to engage your armor in the north. Still have my eyes on the Kitty's (I think.... )

Running into the random Infantry squad here and there.

You won't have to go very far to find my troops...They are the ones down the street with the Kegger and the loud Benny Goodman music. Turns out there were a bunch of French Girls that were itching for a party.

Yee Haw!!:D

That's not armor that is what we call a decoy and thanks for playing. Thanks to Jess's combat photography and generosity we'll bring sausage and jerky to the party.

Turning point

Post by Supervisor »

A big break for me, a disgruntled toll operator took a pot shot at my tiger from to far away only to piss it off and seal his dimise. As of now all roads open and armor is pouring in, still have some deep snow which is slowing me down. A few hand to hand battles ending in a draw for both. Let the fireworks begin forecast is for windstorms, have to put the weinie roast on hold until the winds die down. I will see you in Bastonge soon!

Snow Removal crews on Strike...

Post by TimeTanker »

Because of your choice of places in the line to attack. We ain't got no stinkin dozers....:p

And, if you were referring to what is correctly called "Hot Dogs" then bring them on. Cause there ain't no Weenies in Bastogne. (Hick...jus a bunch a happ...hick..ha...urp....wonerful guys waitin fer y'all to sh...sh....show hup..urp....mush be da whine we foun...ina bazemunt)

I think this was one of those "Calm before the storm" turns.

A little better

Post by Supervisor »

Ok, feeling a little better, busting my *** at work isn't helping. A few small scirmishes, sent an US Rifle and Eng squad home packing. A bazooka team laying in wait missed a Panther only to be evaporated. Road drying a little not as much of a road block issue. See you in Bastonge, to rign in spring. Still a little calm, I expect small battles for a while until I actually arrive in Bastonge. I'm finished with the French girls, do you have an Italians, I'll trade a combat photographer and some jerky for some new party girls. See you on the flip side.

Deal.....

Post by TimeTanker »

Still at the office here. but, anticipating playing this evening.

I hate the cold!:(

Last night I watched the show on the Navy Seal class 234. Man am I glad there are others that will go and do that. They had those guys lying down in the ocean in San Diego for hours. Now if that had been Charleston or someplace on the SE Coast that wouldn't have been a problem. But, if you have ever been in the surf here in California you know that the water routinely stays below 60 degrees. (it was around 57 for these guys) Man those guys were shivering so hard I started to get cold!

Any way, General McAuliffe says that if you send the Broads on top of one of your late model Tigers with the jerky; he will send over the "......lil Darlin's" that he spent the night with last night along with some Graham Crackers and Hershey bars; just to show you that He's not a Bad Guy.

BTW the General says he just wants to try and get a full 360 out of one your tigers.....why? Because, he's the General. Besides, he was the Crazy LA Tank Driver that was putin all them brodie marks in the fields....:D

If the General behalfs, I let him take one of my Panthers for a spin they are much quiker and more nimble than a Tiger(oops I guess I shouldn't have given that little secret away) never mind I don't have any Panthers he can play with a Tiger instead later.

Is that what Jess is....a Combat Photographer?

Post by TimeTanker »

On your way into Bastogne you will see various types of vehicles stuck in the muck and snow. Those are all the vehicles that the General keeps getting stuck.

Managed to take out another Stug by doing somthing I learned just a couple of days ago from Captain Pixel (I think) . There was a thread that was talking about sneaking up on something. I think CPix mentioned to put your range on "0" and then try to sneak. Well, it works!:D

I had always just assumed that the lowest you could go was "1" on range. Thanks CPix! (see even Old Guys can learn.... )

Most of the action was in the north as your Diversionary Panzers and Stugs probe my lines. Destroyed a couple of MG crews and caused one Panzer to button.

Not much to report, found a few sneekies lying in wait. How come your recon get to drive around in a Scout and mine are hoofing it. Maybe 1 or 2 more turns and I might actually be able to see the ouskirts of the city.
