In a statement delivered over state radio the government of the Eastern Alliance has declared they will remain neutral in this argument even though they are bound by treaty to become involved in the war. Stavka on the other hand announced that they are open to discussions from any and all interested parties.

In other news...an investigation will begin soon into the event that caused this war to start.

The war goes well. West and Central fronts hold well and Eastern Front, shown here, is advancing on schedule.
Paras have captured a PRC oil facility and 2 others were spotted. Mizhi was bombed to reduce it's production ability.
Our navy even managed to intercept some supplies at sea.

Life is not a journey to the grave with the intention of arriving safely in a pretty & well preserved body,
but rather to skid in broadside, totally worn out & proclaiming "WOW, what a ride!"

Here's a look at the world wide production. Our modernization plans are bearing fruit.

Next is raw material production. Again modern machinery makes the difference.

And last is oil production. With the capture of a PRC facility we hope to see this turn in our favour.

:Axis Sally:

Citizens of the PRC, do not die in vain. As you can see, Chang Zhi will be unable to withstand our assault. Have your party leaders told you of the impossibility of your situation? Lay down your arms.

Unfortunately on the Western Front we are facing a grave situation. Thankfully our brothers in arms are but a few turns away. We shall persevere.

Dec. 1, 1939

To celebrate this Christmas season we have captured 2 oil fields to help fill the fuel tanks of our hungry armies.
Things are progressing nicely on the Mizhi peninsula as the PRC armies are squeezed between our fearsom troops and those of the mighty Germania!

Hi Barthheart. See my PMs both here and at wargamer. Sorry for the delay everyone, not really sure why my email is not working now. I've been getting other PBEMs no problem but not any of the ATG games I'm involved in. Weird...

If this email doesn't work again I'll PM you an alternate over on the wargamer.

Well now that my email problem has been sorted out...

Soviet troops sit idle this week as war rages all around their borders. Stalin has adopted a wait and see attitude. Meanwhile people are turning in their scraps for recycling at the weapons factories.

Unfortunately I keep forgetting to take screenshots during my turn, and I'm afraid if I open an old save ATG will think I'm cheating. So my next AAR post will be pending my next turn. :)

You can open old saves without cheating.... just dont' play them again. ;)

So who has the turn now?

After some technical difficulties we're off and running again.....

Jan 1. 1940

Advance on the Mizhi peninsula front goes well as the enemy pulls back from our fearsome troops. Soon we will be at the gates of Mizhi itself.
Our glorious airforce continues to rain death from above on Mizhi.

Our outlying colonies are holding up well but enemy tanks have been spotted! We are preparing a suitable welcome....
