RE: Contact At Lipki CTD

I tried 4040 Lipki and it works for me. I am uploading a copy (41mb) of the map folder to dropbox. I will post a link for you when it syncs.

Here is a link to a zip file with the map folder. You can delete the Hsg15lpk folder from your media folder and then extract this folder into the media folder. Hope it fixes it for you. BTW it takes several minutes to load database on my computer. Do not minimize the game during this boredom.

Missouri,

What are your system specs? Lipki is one of the more resource intensive maps. I wonder if that might be the problem?

thanks
rick

Sorry Rick, missed your post somehow.

Intel Core 2 Duo P8700 @ 2.53 GHz
6 gigs ram
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 260M
Win 7 64 bit

It's an older laptop. All current drivers.

Sounds like junk2drive is taking care of you! And your system specs look fine to me, so that shouldn't be the problem. It sounds like the folder permissions got messed up for lipki.

Thanks!
Rick

That did it. Working now. Thanks for all the effort guys. Now if I could only figure out where there is a memory leak or a problem with my computer. I lose frame rates rather suddenly during games and only a reboot can fix it. Prolly on my end but frustrating none the less.

Thanks again.

Glad to hear that fixed it but puzzled as to what happened in the first place.

Check your antivirus and see if it has a Full Screen Game mode. That will turn off updates while you are playing games.
