No its not your mod. Did a totally clean install this morning on a different Hard Drive, played three turns of stock GC, reloaded the whole game, and it crashed. Bug report on Ageod forums. Have to plan it carefully when I want to exit the game. Restore works.

Thanks.

BTW, the AAR will show the next AI Stalin's move. Nothing short than smart [:)]

Dunno as I myself don't experiment it. Do you have done a fresh install of the game? Then applied official patch, then my mod?

But I guess, as official version hasn't made any change to data files tied to AI stuff since December 2010 the trouble is in the exe. So a new exe could be necessary. I will be sure about once I will have this bug in my game.

By fresh install do you mean totally new install of the original game? That I have not done. Everything else I have.

yes.

OK, as Stalin captured Rostov and defeated my hastily organized counterattacks, and then the game crashed, I might start all over once again anyway. [:o]

In short, the same bug causing CTD with the same message about the number of Iter has been spotted in PON.

FYI, Miltary AGE AI does iterations in its processes. I guess PON memory leaks have forced lately AGEOD to introduce sort of safety limit in memory usage, this one being conflicting with a AI process.

OK, I did a clean install of everything. Now I got the CTD on the very first turn while reorganising my units. It seems 1.03 has screwed the game for me, including this mod. [:(]

It's gone after retries...

How is it possible that after the clean install, Murmansk forces are again under Souther Whites control? Are there some files missing in the latest mod version? Everything is installed as they should be. I'm no noob in that department.

What forces? I've checked the scen file for the GC in the mod, and it's the one on my HD. I've launched a new GC and Murmansk is under Siberian control. If it's another scenario, I've not changed the offical files for now, so Southern WHites have control on Murmansk.

On the " bright side", I've got the iter 15 bug. At least, my Computer is normal. [:D]

I try to continue the game after having checked Error Logging in the System tab of the option panel. It doesn't fix the bug but seems to stop CTD.

Just checked the scen folder, and the GC is dated 30.6.2011! Obviously something went wrong with installing the mod (including several retries). Sorry about that, installing it should be made foolproof. [:o]

I think I've at last found some time to learn a bit more about install processes.

Indeed, I've tried to overcome the 15 iter bug, without success. Sooer or later, any game will crash. Period. Humourously, the 3.0 version without winter doesn't show any sign of this bug which obviously has been introduced by the hotfix. SEPRUS at its best...

So as I'm forced to wait a hotfix to the hotfix, I will try to improve the install process and continue to adapt my AI events to AACW.

If you want to help, go on the official forum and upload saves of official games. For my own, I'm just thrilled how right I am about them, and how unfortunate has been the RUS career[:(]

But I've had some much fun with my last game all this has no importance [8D]

Do not discard RUS Clovis, despite the bugs :( Just wish more were playing it, and it seems as if not many from Ageod still are :(

Although I supposed I had no interest in the Russian Civil War, after viewing some of the RUS screen shots and AARs, I am intrigued.

So intrigued that I bought the game. [:)]

Now, if only I can find time to play it. [:(]

My highest priority near term is ROP, and also WIA. I have near zero interest in playing PON (bought it anyway). Not really motivated to play ACW at the moment either. NCP? Well let's just hope that NCP2 comes sooner rather than later.

That leaves RUS in third place on my AGEOD play list. If the RUS Devs/AGEOD/modders can whip this game into decent shape, I will likely play it before too long. I don't have time or patience to be beta tester for RUS, though, and I will not endure show-stopping bugs. RUS has to be a near-finished, reasonably debugged game before I will take it seriously and really play it.

So, yeah, don't discard, or disregard, RUS. The game still seems to have promise. Hang in there!

Don't worry. I'm not giving up, just waiting a working 1.03 patch. [:)]

Maybe I will get back to the 1.02b...
