Indeed. And Super Bowl is all about quantity.

The quantity of commercial breaks one can include in a sporting event. And the quantity of beer that can be sold.

I just want Chelsea to loose the Champions League. What being a Spurs supporter and all that. Come on Bayern.

As for American football I don't mind it, reminds me of being young when it hit our screens in the early eighties on Channel 4. Though what says alot about our American Cousins is the way they call the winners World Champions and is it baseball World Series? Yet only American teams are involved! They've got to feel that they've beat the whole world even in their national sports where they only take part.

Only winding you all up here!

Poland has spent over 1,3 billion of US dollars to build four stadiums.
I know many much better ways to spent those money.

Hopefully you get at least some of the money back during the tournament. I considered travelling to Poland during the tournament but then Sweden got to play in Kiev. So now I am going to enjoy it at home instead.

Had it been in Gdansk or Wroclaw I would have been there. I'll probably make a vacation in Poland next year instead.

Right, with the domestic football season all but over, lets turn our attention to the Euros.

Who is going to win?

If you believe the Brit papers, then not us because Roy is in charge! [:D]

The sensible choice has to be Germany, and it's where I'd put my money, probably beating the Czechs and Dutch on their way to a final against Spain. If I was given a pound I'd put it on Croatia as an outside choice.

Apparently this is an extract from the meeting with the FA just after Woy Hodgson's appointment:

FA Official: You know we will not have Wayne for the first two group matches.
Hodgson: (angrily) I'm not interested in the £$%^ing weather.

I think Roy is a decent manager and I just hope he is given a chance...If he gets us out of the group he will have done a FANTASTIC job.

John Terry or Rio Ferdinand? That is the question.

We will know the answer soon enough.
