It is getting a little long in the tooth - I think I put it together around the time of the last official patch.

A sticky? Print the damn thing out, immediately. Who is this Knyvet person? Bullwinkle, you didn't have a secret love child with Alfred, did you? C'mon you can tell us, we won't tell anyone else.

Knyvet, I'm pretty dense so don't use any big words, how do you stand down a ship?

Take it off 'Readiness' in the lower RH corner of the individual vessel's screen.

Now, HexHead, I've seen you before and you're trying to be a smarty pants. Apparently you don't know me well because I'm much too dense for that. I don't see anything about "readiness" in any ships "individual screen". I see readiness referred to when you're looking at the ships in port repair list. Is that what you (and Knyvet) meant?

I dunno 'bout the Port Repair screen - just the individual vessel's screen. In the lower RH corner, there is a clickable field for 'Readiness' and 'Stood down'.

"Smartypants'? Now, you've wounded me.

You would see the 'Readiness' in yellow if it had any damage and were being repaired.

That ship has no damage, so you don't see it.

When the vessel is damaged or ready for an upgrade, you will see a field highlighted in the lower RH corner. Its initial state is 'Readiness' and toggles to 'Stood down'. Then you can choose Pierside, etc., for how to repair the ship.

I'm known for not paying attention to such details.  I'll endeavor to wipe the crud out of my eyes in the future.  I honestly never noticed that.

Dishonestly, I always knew it, I was just testing you.
