Hotfix 1.07.13 (English version)

Not sure if I upgraded or not. When I boot the game up the second screen in the upper left hand corner states: 1.07.12. On the main menu I have two lines in the bottom right hand corner.

The top line states 1.07.12beta. The second line states: Exe file Version 1.07.13. Also, the Rumania units are still on the border and I thought they where moved back 1 hex.

It's normal when only the exe changes without full patch. If the exe version is .13 then you have upgraded correctly. As for scenario changes - it's not part of my patch, so I can't help you with this.

Thanks, for the quick response. I did not know you had to install all of the previous versions. I skipped 11 and went to 12. When I installed 11, then 12 with the hotfix, everything worked fine.

Sorry, but still not getting this correction to work. In Microsoft language I have "extracted" the subject file to my WitE folder. I see the new "exe" sitting in that folder, but when clicked it comes up with the "error 801," saying the serial number is wrong. When I click "Play" on the opening menu for the game and game screens come up I do not see version 13 anywhere as described in the first post this thread.

What must I do at this point (v13 exe file in the game folder) to get to an acceptable version? I do not know how to "replace the same named file in my game folder," or to "ham & egg it."

Any help out there for someone several months behind the curve on this one?

Have you tried right clicking on the file name and choosing to run the program as an administrator?

Thanks for the tip and tried same, but still showing vnn.12 in lower right of main game menu.

The "date modified" on the ".exe" file resident in my WitE folder is 12/10/2013... think that's for 12 beta as it seems to match the dates for 12 Beta's "what's new" file..

Will try to get the new file again and assure it "extracts" to my WitE folder.

Tried process again; now good to go. Apparently 1st time I got lost in microsoft's extraction process.

Things are not working correctly [:(]
I've downloaded and installed the hotfix.....when I put my cursor over the installed file it says version 1.0.7.13...but when I run it the game page says 1.07.12beta, and my HQs are still starving for supplies. [:(]

You will see .13 inside the game only on the main menu screen in the lower right corner. If it is so, then you have applied the hotifx correctly. How do you position your HQs? What does their supply details screen says? Feel free to start a thread in the technical subforum.
