I got a powertool as I want to do a few odd jobs around the home next year. My baby son is still learning to crawl (7 months) so I still have some time to make the house safe. Gates on stairs etc.

He got tons of presents and I was allowed to build his "Bobby Car". was one of the best christmas's. Doing something for your child while watching him enjoy his first christmas.

Big plans that probably won't pan out. My son wanted nothing to do with my wargames.

I bought myself Carmageddon 1 and 2 and Steam and Iron: Russo-Japanese War.

Carmageddon 2 is a very good game. Great idea and execution.

Yes Big plans. I got my son in May. And due to the various tasks that come along with the little chap, I find that I have very little time to play.
Daytime chores put a stop to my weekend gaming. And evening times is a little better, mum goes to bed while I look after the baby phone, I manage to get
An hour or two on the PC.

But seeing him smile, is worth every minute spent with him.

Well, Mum relented and let me purchase Blocks in the East and War of the Ring in the event I can sway him!

I was lucky enough to get AGEOD's Civil War II and the Distant Worlds: Shadows expansion. Plenty enough for this old man. Had lots of fun watching the grandkids tear into the presents.

A hot new .308, a new neck knife, a new Leatherman, and a beautiful pair of new Steiners.

A very Merry Christmas indeed. [:)]

Some music CDs, a book on Roman history by Peter Heather, a really awesome gardening book, some socks, and a new wrist rest for my keyboard.

Sadly, there was no Windham MPC rifle under the tree... next year, perhaps.
