Uh, I do. I wrote a check not too long ago to Chickenboy for a debt incurred on a bet about an AE game! I think I have more than just one problem.

Did I get the date right, Andre?[:D]

I remember that on June 6, 1964 (while in high school), I wrote June 6, 1944 for the date on a paper or test or something. And the teacher (a veteran) picked up on it ...

So, maybe not a WITP-aholic, but definitely a WWII-history-aholic!

Close enough. The bank cashed it, so it was good enough.

Although you needn't have put "Nyah na na na na...pfft..." in the "Memo" field. [:'(]

I can be a bit old fashioned about things. I find I can keep track of my bank account much easier if I write paper checks, so I pay the bills with checks and stamps. When I use electronic banking, it's way too easy to forget something and I don't log the payment then get overdrawn. It's really annoying to get overdrawn when you have the money, it's just not in the right account at the right time.

When I'm writing checks, the register is right there and it's part of my procedure to log the check as I write them. I probably could develop a habit to log the electronic transaction in an electronic register, but I hate learning new habits. I probably will have to one of these days.

You talked to your wife the same day you lost a Carrier!
Unless my wife is offering sex, speaking is off the table the rest of that day!

Your PBEM opponent tells you he is in trouble with his wife for yelling at her because she tried to talk to him while he was watching the major carrier battle. You then load up the turn, and end up yelling at your wife for the same reason.

You know you are incurable when you pack 2 laptops with you everywhere so the different games under different Betas don't get confused.

That is overboard- I use one laptop but two installs with separate shortcuts (and unique icons).

You need two laptops in case one of them breaks. My wife does not understand this fact of life. I had to tell her the second laptop was for her.

My wife is currently in Massachusetts and moving here to Ohio in a few weeks. Anyway she asked me if I could drive out to MA to help her load the car with the rest of our stuff and I said( Without Thinking) "but that will cut into my AE time". She says "What the H.. is AE time". By the way, I have 5 seperate folders for AE on my laptop. Each with its own map and game types. I know, GP
