We, the testers, are working on some ideas to help with the management of assets in WITP. Matrix has a long list of ideas from UV players as well.

I think you guys should start a thread on wanting to buy maps and counters. Who knows, with enough support maybe they will do it.

Hi Rick,
I've already started that thread. It's title is: Any intersest in a special first release version of WITP. Check it out. The response so far is mostly positive. My original idea was do do a special first edition which included a large map, counters, and a manual in a 3 ring binder. However, other members have sugested offering these accessories seperately or have them included on the disc so they could be printed out at Kinkos. My first idea was for the special edtion which was to require a preorder by a certain deadline so that Matrix could evaluate the interest and feasablity of the idea before investing in the production of the product.
When the EIA game comes out I already have the board game to serve this function. Although there are board games covering WWII Pacific which could be used to this end, they will not be completely compatable with WITP.
I have a feeling there could be an untapped market out there for computer game accessories, especially now that the games are getting so large and complex. Its difficult to follow all the details on the moniter screen. I'm thinking that the time for play aids has arrived.
Thanks Dave

Guys, look in your UV "manuals" folder, there´s a A4 (~ letter size) and a A3 (poster size) version of the UV map as PDF. You can take that to any printer and have it printed out nicely, even let it be mounted on card board there.

I printed out the map at 1/3 scale and it was 3 ft by 3 ft. I don't think this option will be implemented. You can always do a print screen, past it into paint and then print out the section you want.

Its in the file directory called manual. File name UV - Reference Map.pdf.

However it does not have the hexs on it. It would be nice if there was one with hexs....hint ...hint..;)
