I also question the time to acquire and time to track a target at these ranges and the ROE to engage.
My understanding is the TAR (Target Acquisition Radar) does a 360 scan every second or so. It build a very good picture of the airspace out to about 20 km from the vehicle.
Once the gunner selects which target he wants to engage (a button push), the TTR (Target Tracking Radar) locks on that target and lays the weapon on the target. That includes the optical sight. The gunner tracks the target with the optical sight and corrections are sent to the missile, much like a SACLOS ATGM (tracker sees a beacon o the tail of the missile and looks at the deviation between the crosshair and the beacon).
I would expect a missile launch happening in under 5 seconds, in the case of multiple targets. Less if there is only one. Don't know how the IFF factors in time wise(does the gunner need to specifically interrogate? ROE? Maneuver/fire control measures?)
