FJ (Ax) vs meklore61 (WA) 43-45: The Inept War

This was a railway interdiction shot, done on a 5 hex area. I don't have a lot of Tac air that way, so it was weak. His units are already showing low supply, but we'll see if this can force a withdrawal from starvation. I've also started in on his ports and railyards.

No screens this turn either. Nothing of note happened. More positioning of units. The flurry of German reinforcements is now at an end. I am stuck with what I have for several turns besides some withdraws

My supply situation in Italy was rather bad but is improving. German units in France, the Low Countries and Denmark start out with like 1/4 supply and most the first few turns goes to them. Not sure why the scenario is set up like that.
I gained 30% garrison CV in some places due to this.

Supply is slow in moving to Italy but those units are slowly starting to gain what they need. Fuel and ammo however is not arriving, hopefully the next few turns rectifies that.

Not any ground action this turn. I'm keeping after the ports and airfields, but it appears he's sending construction units to fix them. I'll just bomb other ports now and let those get fixed. If they are auto fixing I'd let them do it, but if your wasting admin. points on priority repairs of those ports and railyards, Southern Italy is not the place to use them.

I took one pic. It's my auto naval creeping northward. You can actually see where some planes are near the coast. The USS Corsica sure projects naval power!

I have not used any priority repairs yet. The AI seems to actually do a nice job of shifting repair units around where needed.

Do you pull naval patrol assets from England, or is this just from rebasing what starts in the Med?

INVASION!!! INVASION!!! INVASION!!!

The mighty allied naval force landed just north of Rome, against a huge force of construction units! We barely held our beaches against this force, but we managed to get ashore against the stiff opposition.

I've been tinkering with getting better results in Italy, and in the open it's great, the mountains are just tough to interdict.

I have a surprise next turn. I'm calling it Hell On Wheels!!![:D] You'll have to tune in to see how it works. It may fall flat on it's face, but we'll see.
