RE: Mod Update

I just made a minor adjustment of some cruiser stats.
If you are starting a new PBEM you need to both download the same version - because unfortunately if so much as the spelling of ONE name changes in the entire database - you will get a non-compatible error.

As for an ongoing game against the AI, you can safely download the latest version and when you start your next turn it will ask you if you want to update to the latest - doesn't hurt anything.
Only PBEM needs to start and stay on the same version.

just a quick question about the latest version

i see you updated SCN199 on 9th Nov - my installed version is from early August 2016 - were there any major changes?
(apologies if i have missed a change log somewhere)

EDIT: - and will any changes need a "new game" to take effect?

many thanks

there are a couple of ongoing threads about problems with ASW combat

does your mod deal with this issue at all?

thanks

No,
I have tried to keep close to stock for most weapon/effect values, if - official values change -I would update those changes.
I don't want to alienate most potential players by playing to loose with this, because as much as some dislike 'thing x', their opponent usually doesn't want to loose a stock capability (perception).

thanks for the update

just had a poke about in the editor using the info about the changes from one of the other posts and it seems the ASW problem has been fixed in your mod

maybe you based your mod on a scenario that already had AndyMacs fixes to the stock scenarios which came out in 2012??

or am i reading things wrong?

It's probably because my mod is based on all the official updates included in the March 2015 Patch (on the product page download section).

I try to keep it up to date with that... [:)]

Discovered a data base problem that occurred within the last 30 days, with reinforcements arriving at location 1610 Masirah.
This only occurred when stacking limits were applied.
Anyway - bug fixed as of today 15 DEC 16, and minor refinements applied.
If you have downloaded this mod in the last 30 days I suggest re-downloading again and letting it update.

Hi B,,

Although i'm a big fan of Scen 199,, i've noticed that when I downloaded your latest version this morning, that the Stock ones have been taken down again (i.e. Scen 190, etc.).... Is this just temporary or are you sticking with only the heavily modified one (199) and the Guadalcanal one (195)?

Just curious, that's all....
