I tried to send you an email using the address you posted but it wouldn't go through. I'll finish the game.

Well, I got the turn and password. Things look a little grim but I will try to stop Japan and go on to victory. My first turn is mostly starting to reorganize and move things where I need them.

More to come I am sure.

After a break for R&R the IJN/IJA are back in action, again benefitting from chaos confusion and er.. 'issues' the Allies are facing.

15th army is on the borders of India but looking low on rice, all of Java and East Indies bases fly the Rising Sun and there is some progress in China (which is now cut off from Inda and whoops, where are the those Dakotas?)

A shoestring invasion force captured Darwin - a few CAs for cover and a 'jeep' CV TF force of CVEs and a CVL for air support. However, te jeep TF took a mauling from old Martin bombers, who had a day of glory for sure (they are busy claiming Akagi I bet).

But progress stalled in SW pacific, Wake still holds out (soooo embarassing... I even have BB Yamato on the job there) and Midway remains the only Central/Eastern Pac Isle in Japanese hands - Midway has become a popular venue for B17 vs Zero matches.

The IJN CVs appear to be hiding/still drunk after their mauling of US CVs and sinking the Lexy, but frankly unless those US shipyards perform mirlacles, there is nothing worth doing a sortie for (Ed note - IJN shoud refer to US ship building capacity before being so smug). Bring on those Essexs cry IJN. US FINALLY had some luck as their two badly damaged CVs in broken up TFs slipped by the massed Betties on Canton Island with barely a scratch, or else it could have been 3-0. Must have been all that smoke obscuring the target...

Mr W DOES have soem serious buggy issues which I trust he wil raise with JP, but over to him

Farewell GI!

Could You also give us screenshot ?

To do this:

make all needed data visible on the screen
press 'print screen'

open irfan view, or virtually any photo editor
and use 'paste as new image'

save it on the hdd
and add an attachment

Photos would give better orientation
Thanx
Peter

MATCH ABANDONED

Post by strawb »

It seems another opponent has had enough of the quirky bits of this particular game, the ropey US start and my two weeks out sick/on holiday - no sign of Wethersfield, no hard feelings by the way.

Will make appeal for new opponent elsewhere to start new game - I am honest - honest- and good for four/five turns per week. I am on GMT though.
