Can't Init Font Error

Just bought the game with the Holiday sale. I WAS having the Can't Init Font Error. I installed the 1.4 update and the error went away. Issue now is, the game loads up into a Black screen with some very hard to read green letters at the bottom. On the right it says "Leave Game" or "Exit Game" can't remember what it says on the left side. But neither side has a button or anything. If I wait a minute and just hit the escape button it will drop to the desktop and I have to ctrl-alt-del to shut the game down.

Running Windows 10, and I have renamed the Video folder.

are you running in Windowed mode or full screen mode (find this toggle under options menu). try windowed and see if that helps.
If you want to run full screen, I suggest you follow the instructions in the readme to run it through dxwnd and see if that helps.

both of these issues are supposed to have been addressed. let me know.

Whatever the Default option is how I'm trying to run it, as I haven't been able to get into the game to change anything....Downloading DXWnd will update once I figure it out.
