Turn 20 plan

Assuming I can actually break through and I don't have any nasty surprises, here are my targets for the armoured attack.

Turn 21 in the north.

The Israeli's are still attacking and trying to flank El Firdan. Fortunately, I have Saggers set up in the south for that very issue.

Turn 21 in the south.

Here is a 3D shot of my tank battalion advancing into the Israeli rear.

Turn 23 Overview.

Here is the overall situation on turn 23. The attack in the north is about to stall as my opponent has to pull tanks from that sector to deal with my attack in the south.

Turn 24 in the south.

Here's the spearhead and you can see I have started to bring up the mechanized infantry. I will need to use both infantry and tanks to attempt to take the positions. My opponent doesn't have a lot of tanks in the area, yet, but they are coming and they are far more lethal than mine.

Turn 26 in the south.

Getting close to the end and here are the positions. It's messy, but all I need to do is grab one for an Egyptian Major Victory. The key is to not let him know which one I am going for!

Turn 28 Overview.

Pushing forward and captured a couple of the locations, although I don't know if I can hold them. I brought up a few Sagger teams to the area in the south with excellent field of views, they were successful in destroying a tank or two.

Turn 28. Western Point in the south

I have a lot of infantry here and I should be able to hold this as he doesn't have a lot of offensive power here. I will lose a few infantry SP's more than likely though.

Turn 28, middle Objective.

Only two rifle platoons here, but they are supported by some tanks and some Saggers. Will that be enough? I don't know.

Turn 28 far eastern objective.

A larger attack force here. There is artillery batteries to the north and I had taken some losses from them. I am pushing hard here and will spend the last two turns duking it out with my opponent.

Turn 29 in the north.

One more turn.

I am pushing in the center, even though I won't make the VP locations along Spontani Road.

You can see that I have secured the Major Victory for the Egyptians.

Turn 29 in the south.

The center VP location seems unattainable, as I don't have enough infantry there to do the job. He still has a battalion of 155mm howitzers which is making this task difficult.

You can see I am attempting to secure both VP locations in the east, I will assault during the last turn, hoping for the best.

Well, we finally came to the end of the scenario. My opponent did well, but a few minor mistakes cost him the game, allowing me to counter attack and achieve and overwhelming victory.

Here are my final positions and the final score.

Here is the situation at the most easterly Israeli position. I was able to secure the two Objective Hexes. There is also a screenshot of the tank losses.

Here are the final positions in the south. I could not secure the center location, I didn't have enough combat power there, but, he did leave two tanks in that neck of the dunes!

Here was a thrust in the center. I lost some MG's loaded on some Walid's, attempting a reconnaissance by force.

And here are the positions of all the units after I pressed end turn.

It was a bad day for the Israeli's.

Can anyone else see the pictures? I'm logged in and tried Firefox and Chromium, but can't see the images.
I still enjoyed reading the AAR, even without them.
Edited to add - I do see the images in the other two AAR threads.
