Hawk versus Goblin (Again)

Whoa! Tank battle in the south-center! I lost an armored car, but killed an FMC. They don't die easy. Plus, when you kill them, an entire Infantry unit is created when the crew bails! A brief shootout between French M/C units and British Royal Infantry in the south, and my tanks raked a couple of Legionnaires with MG fire. Hawks 81mm mortars swing into action up north, near those Cavalry and FMC 2C's. I think that flank is going to explode soon.

My Strat is moveing along Splendedly..

I managed t o take out a Sniper up North as well as call in some Mortars to rid my self of those Fish and Chip....limey's!!!!!!:mad:

Wow, if your plan involves losing numerous tanks and men, then I am in AWE!! It is stupendously successful!!

An FT-17 or two died this round, and alot of French Infantry and MC troops too. My light skirmish line is taking a horrible toll on Hawk's Frogs, but that makes me worry, because it appears to be part of his plan...:rolleyes:

Another Monster dies, but I see at least two more. It is rather like bees stinging away at a water buffalo, but our bees bring 3#er Elephant Guns on safari...

The infantry battle is about to begin, I think. Our infantry scouts and forward units are exchanging light rifle fire, with no casualties yet. It is so OPEN!! There is not alot of cover, and this will be bloody.

Knocked out a number of my "Big Tanks...." But remember this my British Foe...........WE WILL NEVER SURRENDER".....well not yet...:rolleyes:

Hiding behind trees? Welcome to the 20th Century. Its 1934, not 1834, it is in-style now.

Anyways, I lost a tank to one of those big beotches. You lost an FT-17, and alot of infantry. Make it stop Hawk, make it stop. I had a Quad AA gun kill 5 guys in one burst. Are you thirsty for more? Do the French thing, and F9. It is traditional.

There is a small village, rather sparse with buildings, that is perhaps eight or so hexes in diameter. A small tank battle just outside it has erupted into a huge fight!! The bloody place is packed with French infantry! Their tanks bought them enough time to flood the town. My units are fighting their way over a small (50m wide) ridge on the east side of the town, and French 75mm shells are hammering it. My own 18#ers are blasting away at the center of the village. Very nasty.

Elsewhere, French Legionnaires remind my armor that they have rifle grenades by killing an Armored Car. My tanks take the reminder to heart, and work the helpless French over from outside their range. They have no way to fight back in the open terrain.

Poor blokes.

Surrender and have a crumpett, mate. Mayhaps some tea also.
