well, the result is beyong doubt thats for sure.
Those stugs hurt me every time i engaged. Only a handfull of operational units left, most have damage.
I have 4 tanks left, 2 of which hace no main gun!!!

The IS-1 on the center hill has fallen back, abandoning some valuable V hexes to me.

In the south my Stugs mop up a couple tank crews and push farther up the hill.

In the east an engineer squad is destroyed as the IS-1 supporting it moves away to help two other squads.

Headquarters reports enemy tanks crossiing the hill, and not slowing. Hopefully I can take a few greedy Germans with me...

Other than that things are going well. I took out one more IS-1 this turn and shot up an ISU-122. The russian rear victory hexes are mine and the southern hexes soon will be.

Another Stug bites the dust, and some Ski units repulsed. The fighting is tight and dirty in the trenches around the southern V Hexs. My Mortar untis managed to defend themselves from a Sk 222 (hope thats right, not sure, but a apc).
Soviet high command dare German commanders into the killing zone.

No kills to report this turn but Stugs and Ski troops are advancing rapidly from the enemy rear toward southern v hexes. Soon the last pocket of resistance will be surrounded and destroyed.

Units already in the south have pulled back to the hill and are
waiting for the flank attack.

Desperate times require desperate measures. One stug killed by ATG, and infantyr mowed down by my HMG. Mortar units on the hill report a kill through direct fire as well, always bad when they have a direct LOS. Will keep sniping as many attackers till the end...

One of my stugs in the south managed to kill an IS-1 with its last AP round. Now the rest of the platoon is working on the last ISU-122.

Only 2 Russian tanks left! Thank god!

I should have control of all the V Hexes in the next turn.

Last 2 tanks are routed, beyond help.
It is up to the common foot soldier to hold the line.

Stugs and infantry assault the two remaining tanks and after about a dozen hits THEY'RE STILL ALIVE!:mad::mad:

My two tanks took at least 30 hits between them and still live. Russin pride runs deep... though both tanks are in bad shape.

I finaly got those last two tanks and I now hold all the victory hexes.

Just killed the Soviet HQ unit and another Guards squad.

Victory for the Germans. They have achieved a Marginal Victory, though in reality it was a easy win. Thats my first human opponent game done, and i now have a hunger for more. Thanks Skeletor for the lesson, and hope to reverse it one day.

ps Still chasing that first victory i guess...
